Our client are a global distribution giant and their South West finance operation is based in Bristol.

This large and busy office are now looking for an Accounts Facilitator who will assist with the opening of new customer accounts and all additional account requests in a timely and accurate manner

You will be responsible for checking all information on new applications and in line with the company’s requirements and authorise signatures.   You will conduct the necessary credit checks using the leading credit checking agencies.  You will advise on litigation and credit risk issues and advise on any rejected credit checks.  You will be part of the internal credit policy for the company and input all data onto the system.

You will be required to meet daily and weekly deadlines and keep an accurate spreadsheet record of your accounts and activities.  Other duties will include filing, scanning, company name and address changes and you will need to possess good computer skills although ful training will be given.

In order to fulfil this role you will have excellent alpha and numeric data entry, an eye for detail and at least 2 years in an accounts/credit control role.

You will be a strong communicator and have excellent writing skills.

The role is Monday to Friday –  9am – 5.30pm with an hour for lunch.

Our client is offering a salary of £23-25k + 22 days holiday + 5% incentive payment.
