Area Maintenance Technician

Our client is a multinational provider of building services and facilities management that is seeking to grow its current UK workforce of over 8,000 employees. They are still a family-run business, having been formed by one in 1985. Our client provides excellent chances for both personal and professional growth across all facilities management sectors. They have given their staff more than 5,709 hours of training just this year.

Owing to their ongoing success with a significant blue-chip contract, they are currently hiring an area maintenance technician to work at various locations in Cornwall.

In order to keep services and costs in-house, the chosen candidate will be expected to perform a multi-site position providing building fabric maintenance services across many disciplines. Reactive and PPM building fabric works, as well as building, fabric, painting and decorating, plumbing and drainage, joinery and planned maintenance, are all included in the work. 

You must have experience of working within a similar position in a retail or commercial environment and hold the following:

• CSCS Card  
• Full UK Driving Licence 

In return, our client is offering a total package of £26 – £27 per annum, including on call every 1 in 4 weeks + travel time + company van, tools and uniform + health care + pension scheme + 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays)
