Cleaning Technician - Nights

Location: NE22 and Surrounding Area

Annual Salary: £25, 210

Employee Benefits: Company Vehicle, Pension Plan, Private Health Insurance, 33 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)

Working Hours: 

Mon-Thurs – 45 Hr week

Mon & Thurs – 8-8

Tues & Weds – 8-7:30

North East Role – Candidate to be within 30 minutes of NE22 postcode.

We are pleased to announce an outstanding opportunity for the position of Cleaning Technician within one of the countries leading refrigeration service contractors in the  NE22 and Surrounding Area.

Currently, there exists an immediate requirement for a Case Cleaning Technician to oversee and conduct the cleaning of refrigeration cabinets at various supermarket stores throughout the region.

Job Responsibilities:

– Execute the cleaning of refrigeration cabinets while adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
– Undertake planned cleaning of refrigeration cabinets, including the complete emptying and cleaning of their interiors (including filters), in preparation for Refrigeration Engineers to carry out maintenance on the cabinets.
– Maintain regular communication with the supervisor to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks in accordance with predetermined specifications.
– Ensure strict compliance with pertinent health and safety regulations.
– Represent the company in a consistently professional and proficient manner, fostering strong working relationships with both colleagues and clients.

Required Skills and Background:

– Prior experience in cleaning or basic maintenance, ideally in a retail or industrial cleaning environment.
– Possession of a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel on a daily basis.
– Possess a friendly and confident attitude.
– Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
– Exhibit a positive approach and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
– Physical fitness is essential, as the role entails a substantial amount of bending and lifting.
