Our client is a well-established building services organisation who has a very successful mechanical division.
They have a proven track record of delivering successful mechanical solutions and install solutions to our commercial and domestic clients, offering highly qualified engineers and technicians to provide expertise and experience across the full range of disciplines including local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector.
They are now in need of an experienced Commercial Heating Installer/ Pipefitter Welder to cover London and surrounding regions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out heating and hot water installations within occupied commercial buildings / schools, to meet the requirement and expectations of the client / contract to a high standard and in a timely fashion.
You will be responsible for keeping daily site logs and induction paperwork within the site folders, to have knowledge and experience in the installation of commercial boiler rooms, this will include installing boilers, pumps and mild steel welded and screwed pipework. You will need to have experience in fitting copper and stainless-steel press-fit pipe and fittings from 15mm – 108mm and also installing mild steel screwed pipework and fittings from 20mm – 65mm.
The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 and ACS gas qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
You will need to have a SSSTS and or SMSTS current qualification and also class two in MMA welding and up to date certification is required.
