Contracts Manager CCTV / Access Control ~ Field Based South East

We are representing a prestigious client in the security and surveillance industry, seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Contracts Manager CCTV / Access Control. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing reactive repairs, preventative planned maintenance programmes, installations, and special projects across diverse contracts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all works align with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act,' industry standards, and specified contract requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an annual PPM and statutory compliance programme of works.

  • Oversee and manage specialist contractors to ensure optimal project outcomes.

  • Plan and coordinate direct labor, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Update program works and prepare performance and status reports.

  • Drive commercial awareness and spearhead continuous improvements for PPM & testing regimes.

  • Manage health and safety risks for subcontractors, specialist contractors, and direct labor.

  • Administer and control the O’Cloud portal, ensuring adherence to procedures and timelines for document uploads.

  • Prepare financial budgets, complete financial variations, and facilitate applications for payments.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Ability to plan and prepare an annual program of works.

  • Proficiency in preparing and designing performance reports and charts.

  • Asbestos Awareness training and expertise in managing Health & Safety risks.

  • Capability to conduct Health and Safety Risk Assessments, produce Method Statements, and deliver toolbox talks.

  • Familiarity with SFG20, PPM & Statutory compliance.

  • Proven experience within the Access Control / CCTV sector.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • HNC/BSC in Construction Management qualification.

  • Capability to produce estimates for schedule of rates contracts.

  • Previous experience in quantity surveying.

  • Familiarity with ICT portals.
