Depot Maintenance Assistant

My client is a family led global Facilities Management organisation who were founded in 1985; they hold many successful and stable blue-chip contracts and have done for many years; they now have an opportunity to join their team and are looking for a Depot Maintenance Assistant. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established, family led business who are growing from strength to strength and can offer career progression and stability in this new position.

The ideal candidate will be required to perform planned and reactive maintenance on a full range of general building maintenance tasks. You will be expected to perform basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting/decorating and general building maintenance to a static site building in Bedford CDC.

You will assist with electrical and mechanical plant works at the sites and working alongside a qualified Electrician.

You must have experience working in a Building Maintenance position in a retail or commercial environment and be able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and experience:

• Reactive maintenance
• Carry out a range of building maintenance tasks involving plumbing, carpentry, painting/ decorating, joinery.
• Full UK driving license
