My client is a leading high-profile packaging manufacturer in North Bristol, and they are currently searching for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Due to the success of the business and the increase of activities, they are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to their background.
You will be fault finding, trouble shooting, maintaining, servicing and repairing manufacturing machines on a continental shift pattern.
You will fabricate a high standard of performance in order to produce effective and efficient maintenance of all production machines, service plant research, development machines in the factory and efficiently carry out planned maintenance schedules within given timescales.
Working with PLC control systems and inverters
Reporting all accidents, observations, environmental complaints and uncontrolled releases.
Use the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where necessary.
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping.
To ensure that all equipment is maintained to a safe standard
Continuously seek ways to improve the safety of equipment
Carry out all tasks in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping while undertaking all tasks.
Ensure you and any direct reports, if applicable, conduct themselves safely at all times and comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Site Rules.
Have a basic awareness of the Company's and own responsibilities in terms of Health, Safety and Environmental.
Our client operates a continental shift pattern, consisting of 6am-2pm (early), 2pm-10pm (lates), 10pm – 6am (nights), 12-hour days and nights.
Ideally you will have an apprenticeship/ HNC/ City and Guilds or equivalent experience and be 18th / 17th Edition certified.
