Electrician

My client is the UK's leading provider of electrical compliance services, being founded in 2007 and providing services to their construction and commercial clients across the UK.

Due to continued developments in the business and demand for their services, my client is now looking to recruit an Electrician in the Bristol area. The purpose of the role is to carry out installation, testing and remedial works to a good standard and to current regulations, providing certification for all works. Also, carrying out fixed wire test and inspection, as and when required.

This role will see you work in a variety of commercial and industrial settings, therefore experience in this industry is essential.

Daily duties include but aren't limited too

Carry out installation works

Carry out testing

Carry out remedial rectification works following testing

Produce works certificates

Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671

Adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times

Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations and best practices within the electrical industry

The ideal candidate will have

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations + AM2 or

City and Guild 236 Part 1 and Part 2 + AM2

City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection (desirable)

18th Edition

JIB Gold Card (desirable)

In return, my client is offering the following- Annual salary of £40K based on 40 hours per week, no call outs. 28 days paid annual leave including bank holidays, company vehicle and fuel card, overtime opportunities paid at enhanced rates and more.
