Our client is a successful facilities management company who, due to continued growth across the business and new contract wins, they are looking to expand their Building Services team and appoint a new Multi-Skilled Operative position to cover a variety of sites in North London and Hertfordshire on a variety of contracts with local authorities, NHS trusts and blue chip clients.. For this role you will therefore need to have a full, UK driving license.

Duties for this role include but aren't limited too

To carry out remedial repairs/replacement to the building fabric within establishments following installation of heating, domestic services pipework and electrics, in order for contract works to be finalised

Work independently from client/consultant issued snagging reports

Organise and carry out painting of building fabric and pipework services that may be required

Minor brickwork repairs to match existing finishes

Minor plastering repairs to match existing finishes

General “making good” to surfaces prior to or in readiness for re-decorating works

Minor installation works of pipework insulations

Liaise with surveyors on aspects of the general service delivery

To ensure that works are completed to the required company standard and within projected time scale, costs and technical requirements

To ensure that all procedures and departmental instructions that relate to the service delivery process are maintained with particular regard to QA procedures

The ideal candidate will

Be qualified by a Building Trade, Level 2 or higher

Have asbestos awareness

Have technical knowledge across a variety of trades

The client is offering the following; Base salary of £34K based on 45 hours per week Monday-Friday, 29 days paid annual leave including bank holidays (increased with time of service), company vehicle and fuel card, staff discounts and much more!
