Garden Machinery Technician

Project Start Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the leading engineering groups within the UK. Due to current demand and expansion, they are looking for a Garden Machinery Technician for their workshop based in Warwick

Overview:

Responsible for the service and maintenance of garden machinery, including brands such as Hayter, Stihl and Toro. Product training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are fully equipped to carry out their new role effectively.

Responsibilities:

Servicing and maintenance on a range of garden machinery equipment

Occasional collection and delivery of equipment

Maintaining good working practices

Other duties related to keeping the department and business running effectively

Requirements:

Has a recognised qualification in service engineering

Has previous experience of working with, or a keen interest in, garden machinery

Has 4 stroke/ 2 stroke engine knowledge

Has some diagnostic experience with small engines

Is a team player

Is self-motivated and able to adapt to varying seasonal workloads

Clean UK Driving Licence is desirable, due to the requirement to carry out collections and deliveries on occasion

Offer:

Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm
