HVAC&R Project Manager

Project Manager ~ Home based & travel to clients (North London, Ipswich, Cambridge area)

My Client, a leading name in HVAC&R systems, is seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC&R Project Manager to join their dynamic team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in HVAC&R project management to contribute their skills to exciting projects across the UK.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys and meetings to assess project requirements.

• Design HVAC&R systems that meet customer specifications.

• Prepare and submit quotations for HVAC&R systems.

• Respond promptly to tenders and requests for information.

• Collaborate with manufacturers and clients to select appropriate equipment and materials.

• Manage multiple projects from inception to client handover.

• Define project scope, activities, and schedules.

• Maintain project documentation in accordance with My Client's Quality Standards.

• Provide leadership and management to installation team personnel.

• Act as the point of contact for allocated accounts.

• Promote My Client and our services to existing and potential customers.

Experience and Key Skills:

• Proven experience in HVAC&R project management.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to generate creative solutions.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Positive attitude and strong commercial awareness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.

• HVAC&R design expertise.

• Process-driven mindset.

• Relevant certification (e.g., Refrigeration City & Guilds, CO2 experience).

• Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and handheld mobile devices

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and project management of one or more of the following mechanical disciplines: Ventilation, Electrical, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating/Plumbing.
