Our successful and well established “IT Support” client in North Bristol are looking for an IT Support Engineer who will be client facing and experienced at designing complex plans to solve IT issues.
This role takes the support from Helpdesk to out in the field, meeting clients and talking through with business owners and other IT Managers solutions to solve System, Server and different platform projects.This role would involve onsite work such as site surveys, consultancy and installations and designing and creating the plan for the customer.
You will be liaising with our client’s internal senior management team to provide quotations and draw up a detailed project plan that the engineers can implement. You will have experience in Troubleshooting of a manner of request.
Ensuring all procedures are followed and all work is recorded correctly.
Performing ongoing checks to ensure all critical systems are operating to the required standards.
Liaise with other colleagues, manufactures and 3rd party software houses to a high level of technical understanding so good communication skills are key.

You will need to be technically competent in the below technology: –
·Microsoft Server 2018, 2016, 2012, 2008 (anyone of these).
·Active Directory, TCP, DNS, VPN, DHCP
·Mobile OS and devices
·Virus & Malware scanning and removal
·Excellent communication and telephone manner
·Mac OSX & other Apple devices
·Relevant industry qualification from Microsoft, Apple etc
