An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Helpdesk Engineer to join a well-established IT Support business based in Yate. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled Support Team and perform a vital role in providing a high level of remote assistance to a variety of sectors.

Duties:

  • Troubleshooting issues and requests
  • Ensuring all procedures are followed and all work is recorded correctly
  • Occasional client visits for onsite support
  • Liaise with other colleagues, manufactures or 3rd parties when required

Required:

Experience working with the following:

  • 2/3 years working within a similar IT Support/Helpdesk role
  • Windows Servers 2008 -2016
  • Windows 7-10
  • TCP/IP and firewall configuration
  • Active Directory administration
  • Networking
  • Basic hardware set up and configuration

Desirable:

  • Office365
  • Relevant industry qualification from Microsoft, Apple etc
  • Knowledge about VMware and Hyper V administration
