Maintenance Electrician

A fantastic opportunity awaits for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the leading Facilities Management Contractors in the country, operating in the Northeast region.

The ideal candidate shall possess a strong electrical background and hold qualifications such NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and a minimum of 17th or 18th edition certification.

The core responsibility associated with this role will be collaborating within a team, overseeing the maintenance of diverse retail sites throughout the region. The principal aim is to execute planned and reactive maintenance activities encompassing both electrical and mechanical systems.

Duties:

1. Providing assistance to fellow technicians in the execution of both major and minor maintenance tasks.
2. Diligently accomplishing all mandated planned preventative maintenance (PPM) assignments and reactive maintenance tasks, adhering to established timelines, and meticulously maintaining comprehensive documentation.
3. Effectively prioritizing and delivering minor maintenance and repair work in alignment with agreed-upon deadlines.
4. Ensuring the continual availability and operational readiness of all necessary tools and equipment indispensable for minor maintenance and repair tasks.
5. While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM duties, occasions may arise necessitating your presence at other sites within the cluster to perform work.
6. Engaging in collaborative efforts with colleagues from both our organization and the client's side, with a steadfast commitment to upholding the prevailing standards of quality.
7. Presenting oneself with the utmost professionalism, cultivating positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Executing all tasks in strict accordance with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
9. Rigorously monitoring and updating the Mercury system to ensure the provision of real-time job status updates from your team and yourself.

Minimum Qualifications:
– NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations/maintenance or an equivalent, officially recognized apprenticeship.
– Certification in either the 17th or 18th Edition of electrical regulations.

– Base Salary: £36,629
