Multi-Site Technician

Our client is a global facilities management and building services organisation who has a very successful maintenance division . Due to their continued success, they now have the need for an experienced Multi-site Technician to join the company and to work on a blue chip retail contract, working across the Cardiff area.  

Role: Perform efficient maintenance and repairs on various equipment and building assets across multiple stores while ensuring safety and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Professionally represent the company.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and log remedial actions for compliance.
• Stay updated with company guidelines.
• Supervise Maintenance Assistant and provide coaching.
• Respond promptly to service calls, assess and carry out repairs.
• Order necessary spare parts.
• Identify irreparable faults and recommend replacements.
• Communicate repair issues to management.
• Manage subcontractor attendance.
• Conduct surveys and reports as needed.
• Perform alterations and installations within your expertise.
• Assist colleagues in different locations when requested.
• Recruit and select qualified staff.
• Liaise with project teams.
• Ensure tools and equipment availability.
• Attend training courses.
• Maintain accurate Asset databases.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and support.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Certified in 18th edition electrical regulations.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• Proficient in 3-phase electrics.
• Team management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer-focused and self-motivated.
• Maintenance and repair expertise.
• General plumbing and building skills.
• Able to work independently and at heights.
• Holds a current driver's license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
