Our client is an extremely well-established maintenance and engineering facilities management and building services company.
They have bene successfully trading for over 25 years, delivering technical solutions to the retail, supermarket and commercial markets and have an array of large blue-chip clients in the UK.
Our client is looking for a refrigeration Supervisor to be based anywhere in the Greater Manchester area.
As a field-based Refrigeration Team Leader, you will be responsible for the engineers within your region and will provide support to them as and when required.
As the role is field based in the customers premises, you will also play a key part with ensuring your engineers work to the high standards and in a safe manner.
Communication with Store Managers is key to ensure any queries or concerns are addressed quickly to avoid any possible escalations.
You will be working closely with the Account Manager, Desk Engineers, Analysts and Admin team to ensure high level of performance at all times.
You will action and respond to any queries or escalations in a timely manner and be responsible for your engineer’s welfare within your region.
You will be required to conduct monthly meeting to cover off the welfare of your engineers, toolbox talks, service bulletins, vehicle checks and any refrigerant usage issues.
You will provide onsite support to engineers on problem jobs and monitor and review performance and quality of work of sub – contractors
You will be reviewing reports to drive improved performance in conjunction with desk engineering support monitoring refrigerant usage across my regions and liaise with Desk Engineers to ensure refrigerant usage is kept to a minimum.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on large supermarket contracts and have managed a team of service engineers.
You will possess excellent communication skills with both your internal colleagues and external clients.
You will nee d to have worked your way up through a refrigeration engineering service career and hold your FGAS and CO2 tickets as some onsite support will be required.
The role is Monday to Friday, with overtime offered and callout cover should your team require extra support in busy periods.
In return for these skills and experience, are client is offering a salary of £46,600 + overtime + company van and technology devices.
