Solar Roofing Engineer

Our client is a well-established building services organisation founded in 1979 who has a very successful surveying division.

They have a proven track record of delivering successful solutions to commercial and domestic clients, offering highly qualified Engineers and Technicians to provide expertise and experience across the full range of disciplines including local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector.

They are now in need of an experienced Solar Roofing Engineer to join their friendly and busy team.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Safe installation of all mounting, DC cables and panels in respect of solar photovoltaic panels.
• Work to be carried out in line with training provided by the company.
• Onsite safety of all roofing staff, customers and general public.
• Trade specific development of junior solar roofing engineers.
• Accurately interpret designs provided by the company and record evidence of completed work using the equipment provided by the Company.

Essential qualifications/skills

• Working at height
• Working with glass
• Working with DC electricity
• Manual Handing 

In return our client is offering a salary between £24K to £27K per annum (depending on experience) based on a 42.5 hour week + company van, mobile phone, staff discount & benefits package.
