Solar Service Engineer

Project start Recruitment are delighted to be working with a UK wide engineering company. Due to their workload and expansion. They are looking for Solar Service Engineer to join their ever-growing team to work on various sites throughout the UK.

Hours: 40 hours a week.

There will be a requirement for some overnight stays.

OTE: £38,000.00

Duties

• Conducting reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance visits, which include system testing and fault diagnosis relating to the design, installation of domestic and commercial solar PV systems
• Raising remedial quotes for corrective works
• Completing weekly Monitoring and Remedy issues reports
• Completing new installation paperwork in line with MCS Standards
• Acting as first point of contact for PV Customers

Required 

• You will have proven technical understanding of domestic and small commercial (to 250kw) solar PV systems, to include generation and export metering, inverters, fault finding and ensuring systems function in accordance with design parameters
• You will be confident working at heights and have experience with Mobile Elevated Working Platforms
• You will have experience of domestic and small commercial rooftop solar PV maintenance work
• You will have experience of commissioning G83 and G59 regulated solar PV systems
• You will have CSCS / ECS card
• You will have PASMA / IPAF training
• BPEC Solar PV or equivalent desirable
