Water Hygiene Engineer

Our client is leading facilities management company delivering customer service excellence and strive for the highest quality and accountability achievable in everything they do.

Due to their ever-growing success and winning of new contracts, they are now looking to recruit for a Water Hygiene Engineer to be based on a mobile basis working on a range of commercial contracts.

You will be required to carry out:

• Legionella risk assessment
• Temperature monitoring
• Water testing/ sampling
• Legionella remedial works
• Minor plumbing works
• Water tank cleaning and disinfection
• Shower clean and descale
• Monitoring/management/control
• Chlorination and disinfections (mains and CWST) Inspections
• Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves

You must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role to include legionella monitoring and sampling
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of legionella/ACOP L8 and a valid L8 certification
• Understanding of water systems used within a commercial/ local authority environment
